Private video vault for iPhone

Keep private clips in encrypted storage on your iPhone. Watch fullscreen, rotate the view and loop a video, with a clear plan for storage, export and recovery.

Evaluate a complete clip

Keep personal recordings alongside your private photos in encrypted local storage. Move between media, watch fullscreen, rotate the view or loop a clip. For video, choosing a vault also means checking the full recording: its audio, final frame and exported copy.

  • Full-length playback. Start with a replaceable clip and watch its beginning, middle and end. Keep the original until you have checked the complete recording.
  • Audio and timing. Include audible speech or another easy timing reference. Check that the expected audio plays and stays aligned after seeking.
  • Scrubbing. Try to scrub forward and back, then pause and resume at several points. Check that the clip responds as you expect.
  • Orientation and fullscreen. Use both portrait and landscape samples. Check rotation, fullscreen and the return path to the library.
  • Storage use. Allow space for the stored video and its exported copy. Available capacity depends on your iPhone’s free storage.
  • Export and recoverability. Open the exported clip independently, then check an archive restored into an empty destination. Compare duration, audio and the parts you need.

Your recordings stay encrypted at rest

Vaultary encrypts stored video contents, filenames and the library index. Playback makes the recording readable on the unlocked device so you can watch it. Protecting the phone and choosing where you watch remain part of keeping a clip private.

Check sample clips that match your recording device, codec and duration. Format support, file size and export quality need to match your collection. Fullscreen and loop controls do not imply unlimited storage or support for every video format.

Keep a route back after device loss

A clip saved on this phone can still be lost with it. Keep an encrypted archive and the required recovery material accessible without the original iPhone. The offline vault guide explains local access; the encrypted backup checklist walks through a sample restoration.

A plaintext video exported to another app or sent to a recipient leaves vault encryption. Follow the export-before-deletion checklist and leave your original intact until the result is usable.

One private collection for photos and clips

Use the library’s search, type filters and sorting to find a recording among your saved media. The photo vault page covers source originals and image copies. The security model explains the encryption and access limits shared by both.
